    The grapes are harvested in the third week of April, where the correct maturation of the tannins and flavors is sought. Small lots of grapes are separated to obtain unique characteristics of each plot. The grapes are selected and kept clean on the special tables in the Mesanina, and then they are presented in stainless steel by the gravitational method, where the son is ground and then a cold maceration is continued for 4 days at 10C. The extraction management uses careful pumping to obtain soft tannins during alcoholic fermentation. Finally, the total maceration period is 30 days. The malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels.

    • A popular destination for both locals and tourists, the Maipo Valley is quite close to the city of Santiago. It’s divided further into into three sub-regions: Alto Maipo, Central Maipo and Pacific Maipo.

      Each sub-region is known to produce wines of great quality (though often undervalued). Cabernet Sauvignon does exceedingly well in Alto Maipo and also holds the most acreage, while the rest of the region produces quality Merlot, Carménère and Syrah – in addition to smaller quantities of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec.
